Welcome to Settlers' Australian Dried Beef Mince. Our dried beef mince is a shelf stable, dried product which, when combined with water, produces a nutritious ready-to-use low fat beef, ideal for convenient meat-based meals.

It is made from premium lean beef which has been gently steam cooked and slowly dried to retain the essential nutrients.
The special drying process was been developed by Settlers Foods. The process removes 97% of the fat from the beef without removing the nutrients. The drying plant was designed and built by Settlers Foods specifically for our special drying process. Our product is unlike any other product available in the world today.

A CONVENIENT FOOD

Settlers' Dried Beef Mince has wide appeal for the convenience food sector due to its long shelf life. Simply add boiling water, wait 5 to 7 minutes stirring occasionally, and the cooked beef is ready to use in a range of delicious mince recipes. It re-hydrates to 3 times its weight when ready to eat.

Because it is lean beef, the Settlers' Dried Beef Mince is suitable for combining with tacos, rice, pasta, or lasagne dishes, makes a wonderful stir-fry meal, is great added to soups or cup noodles, and can be used in most mince recipes.
